LEARNING GOALS: PREHOSPITAL PERSONNEL

• Describe prehospital care protocol regarding transport, emergency department contact, airway, glucose, and hypertension
• Communicate clearly and succinctly with emergency department personnel regarding t-PA contraindications, witness information, and neurologic exam

CURRICULUM

• The Prehospital Provider course utilizes Video Case Scenarios to teach rapid recognition of stroke/stroke mimic and communication skills
